PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, JULY 14, 2022 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Johnson, Commissioners Boucher, Churack, Clement, Lind, <br /> and Moeller <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Melby <br /> Also Present: Jenny Peterson, Deputy Clerk; and Jenni Gonczy, Splash Pad <br /> Committee <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> Chair Johnson would like to discuss a bench donation for Mayo Park. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER LIND MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 9, 2022; PARK <br /> COMMISSION MINUTES AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER CLEMENT <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 4. Splash Pad Fundraising Update <br /> Jenni Gonczy gave an update on the fundraising efforts: <br /> Total funds raised to date is $153,000. <br /> Ms. Peterson stated that the projected groundbreaking date is July 21, 2022. <br /> 5. Bands in the Park-Volunteers <br /> Ms. Peterson stated there are two dates still needing a volunteer. Commission <br /> Member Churack and Commission Member Boucher volunteered for July 16th <br /> and July 23rd. <br /> 6. General Parks Update <br /> Ms. Peterson stated that the Outdoor Recreation Grant plan will be presented to <br /> the City Council at their August 2, 2022, meeting.
