City of <br />Pequott <br />Lakes_=.z�—_- <br />AGENDA ITEM #11.7. <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Date: January 3, 2012 <br />Subject: Bobber Water Tower Electricity <br />Report: At the last Council meeting the Council discussed <br />the request made by the Chamber for the City to either pay <br />or share in the cost of the electricity for the Bobber Water <br />Tower. The Council tabled this motion until more <br />information regarding a previous lease could be provided to <br />the Council. The past and present leases are attached. <br />May 2, 2006, Council Minutes Excerpt <br />5.4. Bobber Tower Land Lease <br />Lisa Paxton from the Chamber of Commerce requested the Council to <br />consider canceling the lease agreement for the Smokey Hollow Fish <br />building. She indicated that the building is not a viable business operation. <br />She further noted that the Chamber is requesting to discontinue paying <br />the monthly fee of $150 for demolition of the bobber water tower. She <br />indicated that the Chamber will continue to support the on -going <br />maintenance of the bobber tower. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO RELEASE THE CHAMBER <br />OF COMMERCE FROM THE BOBBER WATER LEASE. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />
