I'm thinking of selling my business&might sell the property or rent it out.
Selling due to health of owner's wife; moving to AZ (Whalen Woods)
If it works out,we will be relocating to the east side of Pequot(from the west side)
Look at the recent history of businesses leaving the area.
Where is the EDC going?
Heritage House(asst.living)needs a sign on Hwy. 371. I suggested they contact the state
& also get more exposure in the Echo via social events. She was not pleased that
Diamond Willow might be coming to town. "Another assisted living place is not needed
when we have vacancies."
Landlords often charge too much rent when someone is trying to get established.
There is a terrible traffic pattern&with after hours traffic at the middle/high school.
Have more equality in treatment of businesses. Complaint on signage— 14 day rule—
others have not abided by this!
`.. Signage is an issue
Signage is an issue—we want a sign on 371. Otherwise, consistent signs for all
businesses on comers pointing to the location would be great.
It would be wonderful to have a pool/hot tub/sauna in town.
Will businesses get a list?(of other businesses,I assume) *Maybe it would be good to
pass out a summary—not necessarily all the businesses.
We filled out police information 8 months ago.
Our church uses electronic key cards for accessing the church. Very effective as they
have lots of groups using the facilities.
The manufactured home park is full now. They are very particular with respect to no
dogs, etc.
One form noted: "Very difficult interview—very reserved& guarded."
We need better parking&less congestion in downtown. This would make the businesses
more accessable.
