I did speak with Kevin about neeftg to go <br /> through you and the City first, Kevin understood and was not trying to circuzr;vent anybody or <br /> any process. <br /> - Kevin's January 7 inquiry regarded a suggested replacement of the circular Cul-de-sac with a"T"- <br /> shaped turn around. I understand that the circular cul-de-sac already received preliminvy <br /> approval. It is true that compared to the' - cul-de-sac, the circular layout will require more area, <br /> ew hwork fill, and cost_ .ke'8 n brought up an issue of safety. Both layouts appear to be adjacent <br /> to the existing low spot, so this is an arguable point. I would think that the School District and the <br /> City's Maintenance Superintendent,Mike Laven,might appreciate the circular layout for school <br /> buses and snowplowing, respeetively(maybe this was already taken into account when the <br /> circular layout received prethminmy approval). <br /> Have 'T''layouts worked? Yes.
