We have received preliminary plat approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission and the <br /> City Council. However, there were some concerns with the proposed cul-de-sac, mainly whether <br /> filling the area for the new cul-de-sac would create a greater safety issue. The commission was <br /> not interested in pursuing a through connection, so the proposed roadway would only serve 2 of <br /> the 4 proposed lots. <br /> I have provided an alternate plan using a turn-around design similar to those accepted by the City <br /> of Crosslake under their road standards. We propose the area around the turn-around to be <br /> dedicated to the city for maintenance and snow removal.
