The Planning and Zoning Commission has <br /> recommended approval based on six findings of fact. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO REZONE PROPERTY OWNED <br /> BY LITTLE PINE PROPERTIES FROM WOODED RESIDENTIAL TO <br /> URBAN RESIDENTIAL BASED ON SIX FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> PRESENTED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 7.3. Comprehensive Plan <br /> Chuck Marohn indicated that the Planning and Zoning Commission has <br /> been meeting with some Council members for the past three months to <br /> make revisions to the draft comprehensive plan. He indicated that the <br /> Planning Commission held another public hearing to consider the <br /> recommended changes to the plan. He stated there were no comments <br /> from the public on the plan at the hearing. He indicated that the Planning <br /> Commission has recommended that the Council adopt the plan. Mr. <br /> Marohn also noted that the Council has received all of the recommended <br /> change along with a final plan in their Council packets. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 04- <br /> �.. 20 ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF <br /> PEQUOT LAKES. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. <br /> Council Member Ryan indicated that it had been requested to remove all <br /> references to Community Growth on the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> IT WAS AGREEABLE TO THE MAKER OF THE MOTION AND THE <br /> SECOND TO REMOVE ALL REFERENCES TO COMMUNITY GROWTH <br /> ON THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 8. Highway 371 Discussion <br /> The City Clerk updated the Council on the Highway 371 progress. She <br /> noted that staff and consultants have met to review the road proposal. <br /> Comments are being drafted and will be given to staff for review. <br /> Comments will then go to PLADO, Planning and Zoning and the City <br /> Council for further discussion. <br /> 9.1.
