THE CITY PAYS THE ENTIRE SINGLE PREMIUM FOR ALL <br /> EMPLOYEES WHO TAKE THE CITY'S HEALTH INSURANCE. <br /> C. THE EMPLOYEES WHO TAKE FAMILY COVERAGE WILL <br /> RECEIVE THE PREMIUM COVERAGE FOR THE ENTIRE <br /> SINGLE RATE AND WILL HAVE TO PERSONALLY ADD THE <br /> BALANCE DUE FOR THE FAMILY RATE. <br /> D. THOSE EMPLOYEES WHO DO NOT TAKE THE CITY'S <br /> INSURANCE WILL RECEIVE $375 WITH NO RESTRICTIONS ON <br /> THE USE OF THE MONEY. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. Police Chief's Report <br /> The Police Chief presented his report and gave an update on the July 4th <br /> parade. <br /> 10. Fire Chief Report <br /> The Fire Chief presented his report. <br /> 10.1. Fire Relief Association Request to Increase Annual Benefit Level <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that the Fire Relief Association is <br /> requesting to increase the annual benefit level from $1,800 to $2,500. She <br /> noted that the increase leaves a deficit of$69,367 and a required <br /> municipal contribution of$12,644 from the City's 2005 budget. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO INCREASE THE ANNUAL <br /> BENEFIT LEVEL OF THE FIRE RELIEF ASSOCIATION FROM $1,800 <br /> TO $2,500 PER YEAR. COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br />
