Agenda: Parkview <br /> 1) The HOME application has been finalized. Construction on the rehab of <br /> Parkview I&H will begin late May or early June. The Director paid the <br /> Architect(Blumentals) and the Envronmental Consultant(Brauns) out of reserve <br /> funds,with Rural Development's approval. <br /> 2) Three security deposits need to be addressed. Two will be returned with some <br /> charges (units#103 and#205A) and one will not be returned(#201A) as a result <br /> of eviction. M/Nagel, S/Youngberg. M/carried. <br /> 3) The Housing specialist through Rural Development that works with the budgets <br /> and reports for Parkview I&H has been in a serious accident, and will not be <br /> working with the ERA for some time. <br /> 4) Payment in lieu of taxes will be paid in the amount of$2,415.71. Payment was <br /> approved with the bills. <br /> 5) RESOLUTION TO WRITE OFF OUTSTANDING DEBT: <br /> The Housing and Redevelopment Authority does hereby write off the debt of <br /> S.Johnson and A. Burnett. M/Teie, S/Peterson. M/carried. <br /> 6) A tenant has transferred from the upstairs at P.V. I to the downstairs, for medical <br /> reasons. The upstairs unit is vacant with no applicant at this time. <br /> 7) The tenant who was identified at the last meeting as having hygiene problems,has <br /> gone on the Assisted Living program now, and is getting more help. The Assisted <br /> Living program now has eight clients. <br /> Agenda: Alpine <br /> 1) Herb Winch gave a bid of$650 - $700 for the dumpster enclosure at Alpine. He <br /> will do the work soon. <br /> 2) The front door lock that was installed by Winch with the new door has been <br /> replaced. The maintenance person installed a different lock. <br /> 3) The insurance company refunded$867 to the HRA for lowering the insurance <br /> value of the building to $800,000. <br /> 4) Payment in lieu of taxes to be paid in the amount pf$688.70. Payment was <br /> approved with the bills. <br /> 5) There needs to be some landscaping done at Alpine, as it is becoming unsightly. <br /> The Board will address it on the project tour. <br /> Other Business <br /> The director requested the Board consider leaving the employee health benefit as it <br /> currently stands, until the city addresses their new health benefit plan.
