Agenda: Parkview 1) The HOME application has been finalized. Construction on the rehab of Parkview I&H will begin late May or early June. The Director paid the Architect(Blumentals) and the Envronmental Consultant(Brauns) out of reserve funds,with Rural Development's approval. 2) Three security deposits need to be addressed. Two will be returned with some charges (units#103 and#205A) and one will not be returned(#201A) as a result of eviction. M/Nagel, S/Youngberg. M/carried. 3) The Housing specialist through Rural Development that works with the budgets and reports for Parkview I&H has been in a serious accident, and will not be working with the ERA for some time. 4) Payment in lieu of taxes will be paid in the amount of$2,415.71. Payment was approved with the bills. 5) RESOLUTION TO WRITE OFF OUTSTANDING DEBT: The Housing and Redevelopment Authority does hereby write off the debt of S.Johnson and A. Burnett. M/Teie, S/Peterson. M/carried. 6) A tenant has transferred from the upstairs at P.V. I to the downstairs, for medical reasons. The upstairs unit is vacant with no applicant at this time. 7) The tenant who was identified at the last meeting as having hygiene problems,has gone on the Assisted Living program now, and is getting more help. The Assisted Living program now has eight clients. Agenda: Alpine 1) Herb Winch gave a bid of$650 - $700 for the dumpster enclosure at Alpine. He will do the work soon. 2) The front door lock that was installed by Winch with the new door has been replaced. The maintenance person installed a different lock. 3) The insurance company refunded$867 to the HRA for lowering the insurance value of the building to $800,000. 4) Payment in lieu of taxes to be paid in the amount pf$688.70. Payment was approved with the bills. 5) There needs to be some landscaping done at Alpine, as it is becoming unsightly. The Board will address it on the project tour. Other Business The director requested the Board consider leaving the employee health benefit as it currently stands, until the city addresses their new health benefit plan. Ml Teie, S/Peterson.
