April 14, 2004 The Housing&Redevelopment Authority of Pequot Lakes met at Sibley Terrace on April 21, 2004. Commissioners present: Peterson, Jurchen,Teie,Youngberg,Nagel. Also present: Director Thurlow and assistant Walsh.No quests. Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. Minutes were reviewed and approve. M/Nagel, S/Teie. M/carried. Bills were reviewed for payment: (See attached) M/Teie, S/Youngberg to pay the Sibley Terrace bills. M/carried. M/Youngberg, S/Nagel to pay the Parkview bills. M/carried. M/Nagel, S/Teie to pay the Alpine bills. M/carried. Agenda: Sibley Terrace 1) The Director gave an update on the progress of the new project. The following was discussed: a) Pre-construction Mtg. b) Contract Change/Mtg with WSN/Norson c) Excavating/Change Order d) Construction Changes �. e) Colors/ Shingles; siding; foundation; fl Appliance bids g) Flooring/type and color 2) The Kiser property construction is scheduled to begin May 1. 3) The sidewalk at Sibley Terrace that was constructed last fall is breaking up. Anderson Bros. will replace it. A bid was received from them for blacktopping a portion of the parking area near the exit. Norson indicated we could get a better bid price if Andersons does this at the same time they put in the driveways for the Townhomes. 4) A security Deposit will be returned to the tenant's family vacating#116, less any charges at move-out. M/Teie, S/Youngberg. M/carried. 5) Payment in lieu of taxes this year is in the amount of$2,324.85, approved with the bills. 6) The Director is acquiring carpeting samples for the common areas of Sibley Terrace. 7) Storm damage consisted of a large pine tree going over in the front year of Sibley T. and some construction material blowing around. Power was off in the buildings for several hours.
