HIRE RAY WOLKENHAUER FOR THE SUMMER SEASON FOR AN <br /> AVERAGE OF 16 HOURS PER WEEK AT $9.25 PER HOUR <br /> BEGINNING APRIL 12, 2004, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 17, 2004. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> Kurt Ash and Diane Cummins had some concerns about the Babinski property in <br /> relation to the proposed building expansion. The concerns related to water run off <br /> affecting neighboring property, garbage piles, the possibility of the buildings <br /> containing hazardous waste, and the request to plant trees as a buffer to the <br /> surrounding residential property. <br /> 5.1. BLADC — Consider Draft Subsidy Agreement for JOBZ <br /> Sheila Haverkamp of BLADC presented the Council with a draft business subsidy <br /> agreement. She explained that the City must have a subsidy agreement put <br /> together in order to proceed with the JOBZ program. <br /> `., The Council felt it would be more efficient for a committee to review the draft <br /> agreement and make a recommendation to the Council on May 4th. The Council <br /> suggested that the committee consist of Tom Ryan, Justin Bolz-Andolshek, the <br /> City Clerk and Sheila Haverkamp. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO CALL A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE <br /> JOBZ PROGRAM FOR MAY 4, 2004 AT 6:30 P.M. AT THE COLE MEMORIAL <br /> BUILDING. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 5.2. Discussion on Industrial Park Lots <br /> The City Clerk informed the Council that she is putting together information on <br /> the industrial park. She requested the Council to authorize the sale of the lots at <br /> $30,000 per acre, which would include infrastructure. She also requested the <br /> Council to authorize the forming of an industrial park committee. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF THE <br /> INDUSTRIAL PARK LOTS AT $30,000 PER ACRE WHICH INCLUDES <br /> INFRASTRUCTURE. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br />
