COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO FORGIVE THE PAST DUE WATER CHARGE OF $311.18 DUE TO STAFF ERROR. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO BE SUBJECT TO THIS BEING A NON-VIOLATION OF AN EXISTING ORDINANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE AMENDMENT CARRIED 6-0. THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 6-0. 7.3. Consider Proposals for Sale of City Hall The City Clerk presented proposals for the sale of City Hall from three real estate companies. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL FROM EDINA REALTY. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 7.4. Review Attorney's Comments on BLADC and Fire Protection Agreements The City Clerk informed the Council that the City Attorney had no concerns regarding the BLADC Agreement. She also noted that the Attorney reviewed the issue of the City entering into a Fire Contract with itself. The Attorney suggested that this was not necessary. The Council suggested that the City continue to draw up the agreement just to show the city's portion of the fair share formula but that it would not be necessary to have the Council approve the contract. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE BLADC CONTRACT. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 7.5. Phones and Cabling for New City Hall The City Clerk noted that the she had received quotes for a new phone system and for running cable for computers and phones at the new City Hall. The Council reviewed the quotes. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO AWARD THE QUOTE FOR A NEW PHONE SYSTEM AND FOR CABLING THE NEW CITY HALL TO TDS.
