City Council Minutes <br /> April 6, 2004 <br /> Page 5 <br /> ---------------------------- <br /> �' implement some method of notification to the City when a rental unit exchanges <br /> renters such as a disconnect policy. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO FORGIVE THE PAST DUE <br /> WATER CHARGE OF $311.18 DUE TO STAFF ERROR. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO BE <br /> SUBJECT TO THIS BEING A NON-VIOLATION OF AN EXISTING <br /> ORDINANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> THE AMENDMENT CARRIED 6-0. <br /> THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 7.3. Consider Proposals for Sale of City Hall <br /> The City Clerk presented proposals for the sale of City Hall from three real estate <br /> companies. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL FROM <br /> EDINA REALTY. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 7.4. Review Attorney's Comments on BLADC and Fire Protection Agreements <br /> The City Clerk informed the Council that the City Attorney had no concerns <br /> regarding the BLADC Agreement. She also noted that the Attorney reviewed the <br /> issue of the City entering into a Fire Contract with itself. The Attorney suggested <br /> that this was not necessary. The Council suggested that the City continue to <br /> draw up the agreement just to show the city's portion of the fair share formula but <br /> that it would not be necessary to have the Council approve the contract. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE BLADC CONTRACT. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 7.5. Phones and Cabling for New City Hall <br /> The City Clerk noted that the she had received quotes for a new phone system <br /> and for running cable for computers and phones at the new City Hall. The <br /> Council reviewed the quotes. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO AWARD THE QUOTE FOR A <br /> NEW PHONE SYSTEM AND FOR CABLING THE NEW CITY HALL TO TDS. <br />
