MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 6.3. Planning and Zoning Board Appointments <br /> The Council voted by secret ballot. The results were read later in the evening. <br /> 6.4. Rotation of Council Liaisons to the Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> Dawn Bittner indicated that the Planning and Zoning Commission had suggested <br /> rotating the Planning Commission Council liaison so that the Council would all <br /> have a chance to be more involved with Planning Commission issues. <br /> Discussion was held regarding what role the Council liaison would have during <br /> the Planning Commission meetings. It was suggested that the Council member <br /> sit at the Planning Commission table and be able to take part in discussion, but <br /> would not have voting power. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE ROTATION OF <br /> COUNCIL LIAISONS TO ATTEND THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br /> COMMISSION MEETINGS WITH ONE COUNCIL MEMBER ATTENDING PER <br /> MONTH. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-1. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON OPPOSED. <br /> 6.5. Consider ISTS Inspection Policy <br /> The Zoning Administrator presented the Council with a proposal for a City <br /> Individual Sewage Treatment Policy (ISTS). <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> PROPOSED ISTS INSPECTION POLICY FOR THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 7.1. Request by Citizen to Forgive Water Bill <br /> Cy Fhyrlund requested the Council to forgive a past due water payment of <br /> $311.18 which was a result of his renter.
