March 16, 2004 <br /> L <br /> The regular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Pequot Lakes was <br /> held on March 16, 2004 at Sibley Terrace. Commissioners present: Peterson,Teie, <br /> Nagel, Jurchen. Absent: Youngberg. Also present were Parkview tenant L. Grabow, and <br /> Tom Ryan, liaison for the city, and Assistant Walsh. <br /> Chair Peterson called the meeting to order. Minutes were reviewed and approved. <br /> M/Teie, S/Nagel. M/carried. <br /> Bills were reviewed for payment: <br /> Sibley Terrace bills were approved for payment. M/Nagel, S/Teie. M/carried. <br /> Parkview bills were approved for payment. M/Teie, S/Peterson. M/carried. <br /> Alpine bills were approved for payment. M/Jurchen, S/Nagel. M/carried. <br /> Agenda: Sibley Terrace <br /> 1. The Board was presented with floor plans for the new project. Discussion was <br /> held regarding a logo for the HRA and the new town homes. <br /> 2. Discussion of the refuse hauler and transfer to a new one. <br /> 3. The sidewalk is starting to crack that was put in by Anderson Brothers last fall. <br /> The Director will be contacting them for repairs. L. Grabow asked that we look at <br /> L a dip in the parking lot area where it goes out to the street. <br /> 4. Vacancies were discussed. All vacant units have been filled. <br /> 5. All tenants in Public Housing have been recertified as of April 1, 2004,with an <br /> increase of approximately$239 a month. <br /> 6. Scott's Lawn contract was approved for the coming season. <br /> 7. Motion by Teie and seconded by Jurchen to return the Security Deposit for tenant <br /> from 102. <br /> 8. The Assistant informed the Board of all of the activities that will be going on: <br /> holiday parties,rummage sale and movie night. <br /> Agenda: Parkview <br /> 1. The HOME Application was approved by the state. A Loan Commitment was <br /> Signed and construction is to begin in late May or early June. <br /> 2. A tenant is being evicted from 201-A Parkview H. She has allowed her sister and <br /> her sister's children move in with her. Her sister was evicted from 102-A. <br /> 3. Updated the Board on the request from a tenant in Parkview H who wanted a pet <br /> for health reasons. <br /> 4. Social Services are working with the tenant identified in the last meeting who has <br /> severe cleanliness problems. <br /> 5. Rural Development is working on final approval of the budgets and year-end <br /> reports for 3/31/03. <br />
