City Council Minutes <br />January 3, 2012 <br />Page 11 of 11 <br />The Council noted that it would discuss this issue again in one year. <br />MOTION CARRIED 4 -1. MAYOR ADAMS OPPOSED. <br />11.8. Revision of Continuity Plan <br />The Clerk presented the Council with an updated business continuity plan. <br />She explained that the current plan has become outdated. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO APPROVE THE REVISED <br />BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />11.9. Grant Request to Paint a Mural on the Pfeiffer Drug Building <br />The Clerk noted that the City requesting to apply for a grant from the Five <br />Wings Arts Council for $600. The grant funds will be used to design and <br />paint a mural depicting the history of Pequot Lakes on the north side of the <br />Pfeiffer Drug building. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE GRANT <br />APPLICATION TO THE FIVE WINGS ARTS COUNCIL FOR $600. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5 -0. <br />12. Other Business <br />Council Member Akerson noted that he has received complaints on the <br />bobber water tower lights being too bright. Ruth Ann Hanson — Chamber, <br />noted that since the shields have been installed the Chamber has <br />received no further complaints on the lighting. <br />13. Adjournment <br />There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION.
