We received a thank you letter from the National Fire Department Association for our <br /> donation of$1500.00 which we raised from the spaghetti benefit. The letter stated the <br /> funds were used as needed to help fire fighters devasted by the hurricanes. <br /> Piper Jaffrey wants to meet with us about investing relief funds in there company. <br /> We still have unfinished underground tanks out west. The sealed tanks need to be filled <br /> and checked. The unsealed tanks need to be covered, filled, and covered with straw. <br /> We will check on why our new Hurst tool does not cut hinge pins. <br /> There are lot of jobs not done yet at the fire station. Work on them when you can. Team 6 <br /> finished all their assigned jobs. <br /> We will not be using the topper from the club cab ford grass rig. We will sell it for <br /> $100.00. Daren will buy it. <br /> We don't know what to do with the headboard from the ice auger event. <br /> Fire prevention programs went well this year at eagle View elementary school and the <br /> day care facilities. <br /> During deer season, make sure to blow the siren for fire calls. Also call mutual aid if you <br /> need to. <br /> New fire fighters Kevin, John, and Dan were welcomed to the department by the chief. <br /> Purchasing a hose tester was discussed. We will order the same one that Pine River fire <br /> has. They are happy with theirs. <br /> We need to purchase some AAA rechargeable batteries for pagers. Oaks motioned to <br /> purchase 24, second by Casanova, motion passed. Dave Knutson will check on them. <br /> The new hose cart has been loaded at Breezy station. Air bottles will be taken off cart to <br /> make room for more hose. We will move the black rack to Breezy. <br /> The Fun Committee has selected December P for the fire fighters Xmas party. <br /> Jeremie's daughter is in the hospital in the Twin cities and he will be there with her <br /> during her stay. <br /> The Fun Committee has purchased sweatshirts for$299.60 for their members. They are <br /> requesting that the department pay for them in gratitude for all the help they have given <br /> us. Mike Peterson motioned we pay the bill, second by Kirk, motion passed. Mary <br /> Peterson owes $64.20 for shirts. <br />
