• CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT SOFTWARE
• I have received information from other cities on this software. All of the
comments have been positive and therefore, per Council direction I will
be ordering the software. The comments are attached.
• STAFF
• Nancy Malecha attended the Minnesota Finance Officers Association
conference in Alexandria—Sept. 21 —23.
• Nancy attended a Medicare meeting put on by the North Central Service
Coop.
• PARK BOARD
• The Park Board continues to be busy working on the park improvements.
They are working with the Legion on the veteran's memorial and moving
forward with the picnic shelter and planting trees.
• SAFETY PROGRAM
• Mike Loven and I attended another safety training program. We are
slowly working at putting together a safety program for the City of
Pequot Lakes. We have put together a safety program and a safety
committee. We are asking Council's backing on this very important issue.
We believe it is necessary to have all departments included in this
program.
• GOVERNMENT DRIVE
• I have met with Sid Inman to talk about financing for the Government
Drive Project. I believe we may need to look at coordinating this project
with some of the downtown improvements. This issue will be brought to
the Council for discussion in the near future.
