s Lakes Library be dissolved as a corporation and that Pequot Lakes Community Library be incorporated immediately. Additional discussion followed. This move would allow all financial forms for the government to be limited to the past year. A hand vote was taken and the motion carried unanimously. Nancy will get the papers to dissolve and also to incorporate. The incorporation papers will be sent to all members via e-mail prior to being sent to the state. Library Board members should comment regarding changes or suggestions. A correction on the agenda was noted: The new bookcase for large print books was donated by Harry Olson. Al Olson built and donated the new computer table for the front room. Sincere apologies to Harry Olson. New Business: Daryl Qualley of the Nisswa Lions Club as approached the Library about placing a reading machine in the Library for patrons who have vision problems. It is approximately the size of a computer. John Longnecker moved,and Lydia Loven seconded,that the Library accept this machine for one year on a trial basis. If it has not been used in that time,the machine should be returned to the Lions Club. Discussion included the fact that the Nisswa Lions Club had sent a$250 donation to the Library toward daily operating expenses. A computer stand(matching existing ones) should be purchased out of those funds. A vote was held; motion carried. The possibility of making a yearly charge for library cards was discussed. Nancy moved that we make the library card fee yearly. Motion died for lack of a second. Harry Olson brought up the fact that we should set a goal for fundraising at the Basket/Silent Auction. Discussion followed. Nancy Adams and Cathy Malecha will do �. this as they put the baskets together. Lydia Loven moved,and John Longnecker seconded,that the meeting be adjourned.
