Proposal for HR Services <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that Ray Niemann has submitted <br /> proposals to the following services: <br /> ➢ Performance Reviews - $900 <br /> ➢ Compensation Plan - $600 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO HIRE RAY NIEMANN TO <br /> ASSIST THE CITY IN IMPLEMENTING PERFORMANCE REIVEWS <br /> AND FOR DEVELOPING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR $1,500. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO FUND THE SERVICES <br /> PROVIDED BY RAY NIEMANN FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY <br /> FUND. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> Council Member Bolz-Andolshek requested the clerk to check references. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO GIVE RAY NIEMANN A GIFT <br /> CERTIFICATE FOR $50.00 PAYABLE TO SIBLEY STATION, FUNDED <br /> THROUGH THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUND FOR HELPING THE <br /> CITY IN THE SEARCH FOR A POLICE CHIEF. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.8. Day After Thanksgiving <br /> The Clerk requested the Council to close the Clerk's office on the day after <br /> Thanksgiving. She indicated employees would use personal time. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO CLOSE THE CITY CLERK'S <br /> OFFICE ON NOVEMBER 25, 2005, AND THAT EMPLOYEES MUST <br /> USE PERSONAL TIME (VACATION, COMP, OR PERSONAL). <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12. Street/Park Supervisor's Report <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Mimm were in the audience and had complaints about the <br /> road washing out and the quality of work on the McGill Road project. <br /> \.. Council Member Sjoblad indicated he would look into the matter. <br />
