City Council Minutes <br /> August 2, 2005 <br /> Page 4 of 9 <br /> --------------------------- <br /> Mr. Hemmerich arrived and explained how he intended to improve the <br /> road. <br /> Some members of the Council indicated that they were unaware that Mr. <br /> Hemmerich would be required to adhere to certain specifications as <br /> requested by the City. The motion was withdrawn by the Council Member <br /> Pfeiffer and Council Member Sjoblad. <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO HAVE MIKE LOVEN PREPARE COST <br /> SCENARIOS FOR IMPROVING THE REMAINDER OF THE ROAD (3/4 <br /> MILE) AND TO PRESENT THE INFORMATION AT THE AUGUST 16, <br /> 2005 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 6.1. Request for Park Funds <br /> This item was withdrawn. <br /> 7. Chamber of Commerce <br /> This item was withdrawn. <br /> 8. Police Chief Report <br /> Report reviewed by Council. Discussion regarding the amendment to the <br /> Drug and Alcohol Policy. The Clerk indicated she would prepare the <br /> amendment for the September Council meeting. <br /> 8.1. Jenkins Policing Proposal <br /> Council Member Sjoblad submitted a proposal for full time police service <br /> to the City of Jenkins proposed by Deputy Chief Ryan. Council Member <br /> Ryan indicated that he wanted to be certain that the proposal covers all of <br /> the police related costs. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO PRESENT THE <br /> PROPOSED PROPOSAL FOR POLICE SERVICES TO THE CITY OF <br /> JENKINS WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE NUMBERS <br /> WOULD HAVE TO BE VERIFIED DURING THE CITY'S BUDGET <br /> REVIEW. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 9. Water/Wastewater Supervisor's Report <br />
