Open Mike <br /> Edina Realtor Sheila Holley informed the Council that the due diligence for <br /> the old city hall has been dropped and that the closing is set for <br /> September 12. <br /> 5. Planning and Zoning Report <br /> 5.1. Rezoning of City to New Zoning Classifications <br /> Mayor Malecha indicated that the Planning Commission is recommending <br /> approval to rezone all properties in the City of Pequot Lakes except for the <br /> properties that opted out of the rezoning and will be reviewed at a later <br /> date. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO REZONE OF ALL OF THE <br /> PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES BASED ON THE <br /> FINIDNGS OF FACT STATED IN THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S <br /> REPORT DATED JULY 25, 2005, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE <br /> PARCELS AS LISTED IN THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> AND INCLUDING CARL SMITH'S PROPERTY. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 5.2. Conditional use Permit for a Home Occupation (Gregory and Jessica <br /> Cheek <br /> The Planning Commission recommended approval of a conditional use <br /> permit for a Type IV home occupation for Gregory and Jessica Cheek. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL <br /> USE PERMIT REQUESTED BY GREGORY AND JESSICA CHEEK FOR <br /> A TYPE IV HOME OCCUPATION BASED ON THE 17 FINDINGS <br /> LISTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND CONTINGENT ON <br /> THE 5 CONDITIONS LISTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION IN <br /> THE PLANNING AND ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT DATED <br /> JULY 25, 2005.
