Metro Fire is putting together a calendar for fire departments. We should send <br /> them any good pictures we have. They will print about 5000 calendars, <br /> Old business was discussed. We should purchase Krusty's pancake batter for our <br /> breakfast. Also precooked sausage patties are preferred. We still need some steel <br /> for the grill stand. Roger will take care of the gas lines. We will have a hall clean- <br /> up on Wednesday, June 20. <br /> Dale Mashuga is coming next training meeting for fit testing masks. This will start <br /> at6pm. <br /> The RIT team will start training at Ideal at 6:30 pm on Monday June 6a'for 3 '/2 <br /> hours. There will be a complete set of SOP's and regulations. Members will need <br /> to attend 75%of all meetings. We have 7 men interested. The training agenda for <br /> July will be SCBA compliancy, August will be policy guidelines, and September <br /> will be testing. Expenses will be minimal.Ideal, Pequot lakes, Mission, Crosslake, <br /> and possibly Nisswa will participate in RIT. Four men from each department will <br /> respond for a call. There will be a fee for$30.00 for a training book We will also <br /> need a RIT bag for tools and accessories, at a cost of$250.00 to $500.00. <br /> The steps to the upper level storage area was discussed. Materials lists are not <br /> done. It would be great to have this done by July 4h. The project needs city <br /> approval. <br /> Safety Town will be June 1e.from 9 am to noon at the Pequot School. <br /> Participating will be Szymanski, Rickard, Evenson, Nelson, Nordby, and Peterson <br /> II. <br /> There will be an Officers meeting on Wednesday June 8t'at 7 pm. The budget and <br /> job descriptions will be discussed. <br /> The Chief asked if we want our pumps certified this year. It has not been done for <br /> a couple years. Oaks motioned we certify all four pump trucks, second by Rickard, <br /> motion passed. Casanova and Loven opposed this. <br /> Kelly Larson asked about getting back on the department. Evenson motioned to <br /> put him back on, second by Oaks. Neil reminded us that this must be done by <br /> ballot vote. The vote to allow Kelly back on was 16 for, and one no. <br /> Our fire fighter I certification was discussed. Dave Schlick says we are members <br /> for life as long as our memberships are currently paid. <br /> There will be a relief association meeting September 7 h at 6 pm. <br /> We have requested a grant for an AED. Also included was a copy of our AED <br /> certification for training. We would like to get a Zole brand one. <br />
