Discussion then took place <br /> regarding whether it was the City's obligation to provide business signs. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO TAKE DOWN <br /> THE EXISTING INDUSTRIAL PARK SIGN AND TO PUT UP A NEW <br /> SIGN IN THE EXISTING LOCATION, WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH <br /> THE CITY'S ENTRANCE SIGN. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO PUT THE NAME <br /> OF "PEQUOT LAKES BUSINESS PARK" ON THE SIGN. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> Sluetter Road <br /> Council Member Nagel indicated that he has been approached by a <br /> citizen regarding the safety of North Sluetter Road. Mike Loven indicated <br /> that the City would be working with Loon Lake Township to cut the hill <br /> down to make it safer. Discussion was held regarding the proposed <br /> development on North Sluetter Road and what the possibility would be to <br /> have the road upgraded. It was noted that Loon Lake doesn't want to <br /> improve the road because there are no property owners to help bear the <br /> cost. It was also noted that the City of Pequot Lakes does not have this in <br /> the road plan and that it would be very costly to upgrade the road. Council <br /> Member Bolz-Andolshek indicated that consideration should be given as <br /> to the developer's obligations regarding the road improvements. <br /> 11.4. Liquor Licenses <br /> The Clerk presented the liquor licenses for approval as follows: <br /> • American Legion On-Sale/Sunday New <br /> • Northern Food Kind 3.2%Malt Liquor Off-Sale Renewal <br /> • Oasis Liquor Off-Sale Renewal <br /> • Pestello's on 371, Inc. On-Sale/Sunday/Off-Sale <br /> (Restaurant) Renewal <br /> • The Plaid Duck Wine Renewal <br /> • The Preserve Golf Club On-Sale/Sunday(Restaurant) Renewal <br /> • Sibley Station On-Sale/Sunday(Restaurant) Renewal <br /> • Tasty Pizza Wine/3.2%Malt Liquor On-Sale/ <br /> Strong Beer Renewal <br /> • Timber ack Smokehouse On-Sale/Sunday(Restaurant) Renewal <br />
