City Council Minutes <br /> May 3, 2005 <br /> Page 3 <br /> -------------------------- <br /> ON THE 18 CONDITIONS RECOMMENDED BY THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION, AND CONTINGENT ON THE FOLLOWING <br /> ADDITIONAL CONDITION BEING: <br /> • THE PLACEMENT, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE <br /> PROPOSED DOCKS AND BOAT SLIPS MEET WITH THE <br /> APPROVAL OF THE MINNESOTA DNR, AND THUS MINIMIZE <br /> ANY ADVERSE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS ON MIDDLE <br /> CULLEN LAKE. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE PRELIMINARY <br /> PLAT OF WILDERNESS RESORT BASED ON THE FINDINGS OF <br /> FACT PROVIDED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND <br /> CONTINGENT ON TWO CONDITIONS RECOMMENDED BY THE <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> �• 5.2. Consider Conditional Use Permit for Retreat Rental Space by Lori <br /> Westlund <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL <br /> USE PERMIT FOR RETREAT RENTAL SPACE REQUESTED BY LORI <br /> WESTLUND TO CONSTRUCT A COMMERCIAL BUILDING WHICH <br /> WILL INCLUDE A RETREAT RENTAL SPACE ON THE SECOND <br /> FLOOR, LOCATED EAST OF HIGHWAY 371 ON GOVERNMENT <br /> DRIVE BASED ON THE FINDINGS OF FACT PROVIDED BY THE <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION AND CONTINGENT ON THE FOLLOWING <br /> CONDITION BEING MET: <br /> 1. THE BOARDWALK AND BUILDING SHALL BE PLACED 25 <br /> FEET BACK FROM THE LOT LINE ABUTTING GOVERNMENT DRIVE, <br /> RESULTING IN PARKING SPACES MEASURING 25 FEET IN DEPTH <br /> AND 10 FEET WIDE FOR A TOTAL OF FIVE SPACES. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION.
