Consider Engineering Proposals for Road Projects <br /> Mike Loven indicated that he has a proposal from WSN for engineering <br /> services for the proposed McGill Street and Evenson road improvements. <br /> Mike indicated that there are drainage issues to deal with on Evenson <br /> Road. Following Council discussion it was decided to spec out the road, <br /> resolve the drainage issue, and speak to the landowners regarding the <br /> solution to the drainage issue. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ENTER INTO THE <br /> ENGINEERING AGREEMENT FOR EVENSON ROAD AT $2,000 IF THE <br /> LANDOWNERS ARE AGREEABLE TO THE DRAINAGE ISSUE <br /> SOLUTION. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> The Council reviewed the proposal for McGill Street. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL <br /> FOR MCGILL STREET FROM WSN FOR $8,300. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> Mike Loven questioned the Council about how to proceed with the <br /> Industrial Park sign. Discussion was held regarding raising the sign and <br /> whether there was room to place a business sign for all businesses in the <br /> park. It was the consensus of the Council to have Council Member <br /> Sjoblad and Mike Loven look at the sign and report back to the Council in <br /> June. <br /> 12. City Engineer's Report <br /> Tim Houle provided a map of the main sewer line from Woodman Street, <br /> 2"d Street, and Main Street explaining the line does not have proper grade <br /> of 4%. <br /> Tim Houle updated the Council on the Highway 371 Committee. He <br /> indicated that the Committee will be discussing the downtown area next. <br /> Tim Houle updated the Council on the Industrial Park progress. He <br /> indicated that WSN has exceeded budget on the project and suggested <br /> that they pull back on the project as much as possible. <br /> Tim Houle distributed a change order for the Industrial Park project in the <br /> amount of$7,414.50. <br />
