Consider Engineering Proposals for Road Projects Mike Loven indicated that he has a proposal from WSN for engineering services for the proposed McGill Street and Evenson road improvements. Mike indicated that there are drainage issues to deal with on Evenson Road. Following Council discussion it was decided to spec out the road, resolve the drainage issue, and speak to the landowners regarding the solution to the drainage issue. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ENTER INTO THE ENGINEERING AGREEMENT FOR EVENSON ROAD AT $2,000 IF THE LANDOWNERS ARE AGREEABLE TO THE DRAINAGE ISSUE SOLUTION. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. The Council reviewed the proposal for McGill Street. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL FOR MCGILL STREET FROM WSN FOR $8,300. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. Mike Loven questioned the Council about how to proceed with the Industrial Park sign. Discussion was held regarding raising the sign and whether there was room to place a business sign for all businesses in the park. It was the consensus of the Council to have Council Member Sjoblad and Mike Loven look at the sign and report back to the Council in June. 12. City Engineer's Report Tim Houle provided a map of the main sewer line from Woodman Street, 2"d Street, and Main Street explaining the line does not have proper grade of 4%. Tim Houle updated the Council on the Highway 371 Committee. He indicated that the Committee will be discussing the downtown area next. Tim Houle updated the Council on the Industrial Park progress. He indicated that WSN has exceeded budget on the project and suggested that they pull back on the project as much as possible. Tim Houle distributed a change order for the Industrial Park project in the amount of$7,414.50.
