COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br /> 0. <br /> 10.3. Proposal from Jon Commers — Economic Impact Study <br /> The Council discussed the expanded proposal from Jon Commers of <br /> DONJEK to study the economic impacts of the current Highway 371 <br /> alignment and the alternate Highway 371 alignment. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL <br /> FROM JON COMMERS OF DONJEK FOR THE ECONOMIC IMPACT <br /> STUDY OF HIGHWAY 371 FOR $12,070. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report accepted by Council. No action required. <br /> 11.1. Sprinkler System for City Hall <br /> Mike Loven noted that the City has budgeted funds to install an irrigation <br /> system for the front lawn at City Hall. He requested Council authorization <br /> to request bids for the project. <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO RECEIVE <br /> BIDS FOR AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM FOR THE CITY HALL FRONT <br /> LAWN. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.2. Resolution Approving County Road Project <br /> Mike Loven noted that the County is proposing to recondition County State <br /> Highway 16. He indicated that because the County is receiving state aid <br /> funds for the project and because part of the project is located in Pequot <br /> Lakes, a resolution must be adopted by the Council acknowledging the <br /> project. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION <br /> APPROVING THE COUNTY ROAD PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> L <br />
