Nordenstua on Sibley— Park Dedication <br /> The Council addressed the letter from Scott Pederson regarding payment <br /> of park dedication fee for his plat. Tommy Woog, Planning Commission <br /> Chair, noted that the Planning Commission has been diligently working on <br /> developing criteria for determining park dedication fees. He noted that the <br /> Planning Commission hopes to have this completed soon. <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to continue with the previous motion <br /> stated in the February 6, 2007, Council minutes and to take no further <br /> action at this time. <br /> 7. Fire Chief Report <br /> Report accepted by Council. No action required. <br /> 8. WaterMastewater Monthly Report <br /> Report accepted by Council. No action required. <br /> 9. Police Chief Monthly Report <br /> Report accepted by Council. No action required. <br /> 10. City Clerk's Report <br /> Report accepted by Council. No action required. <br /> 10.1. Emergency Management Director <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPOINT CHIER JERRY <br /> BRAAM AS THE CITY'S EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.2. Curbside Recycling <br /> The Clerk noted that the City received a request from Pequot Lakes <br /> Sanitation, Ltd. regarding curbside recycling. The Council discussed the <br /> options of subsidizing curbside recycling for all refuse haulers in the City. <br /> The Council also discussed organized collection. Following discussion, it <br /> was the consensus of the Council to continue with the City's existing drop- <br /> , off recycling program and to possibly pursue other options in the future. <br />
