A motion was made by John Derksen, seconded by Bill Habein,to accept Staff's <br /> recommendation and forward the following Ordinance Amendments to the City Council: <br /> • Section 6.1 of the Ordinance be amended to include the Extractive Use Overlay <br /> District,as follows: <br /> 4. Districts. The following overlay districts are hereby established: <br /> Highway 371 Corridor Overlay District <br /> Recreational Vehicle Resort Overlay District <br /> Extractive Use Overlay District <br /> • Section 6.4, titled "Extractive Use Overlay Dist ded and include the <br /> following language: <br /> 6.4 Extractive Use Overlay District(E } , <br /> 1. Purpose and Intent: The pqMose of the tive 'Overlay Dist t EX is to <br /> provide areas for extractive uses and associ I cessory uses such as crushing <br /> and processing, as the City contains significa n e ate materials important for <br /> the maintenance and im rove f infrastructulfta the area.
