Mr. Oberstar's Assistant indicated he has made contacts <br /> representatives of the Army Corp of Engineers and the US <br /> EDA regarding possible grants for the Government Drive <br /> Project. The representatives were supposed to call City <br /> Hall. This has not happened to date. <br /> The City also had BLADC also research different funding <br /> options for this project. The funding options they identified <br /> are: <br /> • Assessing Property Owners <br /> • USDA Community Facilities and Grant Program <br /> The City has not pursued the USDA Community Facilities <br /> and Grant Program. I believe we need more information on <br /> the scope of the Government Drive project to pursue this <br /> funding. <br /> Council Action Requested: No action requested. <br />
