AGENDA ITEM #12.2 <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: November 8, 2006 <br /> Subiect: Performance Appraisal Policy <br /> Report: The Council requested an amendment to the <br /> Performance Appraisal Policy relating to an unsatisfactory <br /> performance appraisal. Attached is the proposed revised <br /> policy with language that addresses an unsatisfactory <br /> performance appraisal. The additional language is as <br /> follows: <br /> Unsatisfactory Performance Appraisal: In the event that a <br /> performance appraisal is unsatisfactory, as determined by the <br /> supervisor and their Council liaison, the employee will be kept at <br /> the same step level in the pay structure. In addition, an action plan <br /> will be created to resolve the performance deficiencies. Once the <br /> deficiencies are resolved, the employee will be eligible to move to <br /> the next level. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council motion approving <br /> revision to the performance appraisal policy. <br />
