- Standard Plus 1-3 Face-to-Face Sessions - $2,016 per
year
Standard Plus 1-6 Face-to-Face Sessions - $2,200 per
year
• Includes 1-3 or 1-6 face-to-face visits with a qualified,
experienced mental health professional. This service
allows members to meet with a counselor who will
help them work through their issues and understand
additional treatment options that are available. Face-
to-face counseling can help reduce costly behavioral
health claims by resolving issues that may have gone
directly to a behavioral health provider.
Currently the City does not have an EAP. Our Drug and
Alcohol Policy refers to an EAP. It requires anyone with a
positive alcohol or controlled substance test to consult the
City's EAP.
I believe it would be beneficial for the City to provide this
type of program for employees. The cost to the City would
depend on the type of program the Council would want to
provide.
Council Action Requested: Council motion to provide an
EAP (Council to decide which type to provide).
