much more efficiently than the pellets we've been adding in the
past. I will begin applying this to our "problem" areas.
Lance and I have cleaned the secondary pond aerators,
- everything looks good. Also, with Mike, Kurt and Lance's help,
the jetting of the city is now complete, for the year. We flushed
several lines with the Tanker too, all good preventative
maintenance. Sandy, Cathy, Mike, Tim Houle and myself had a
meeting with Hershel Blasing (MPCA) to go over all concerns of
running the wastewater treatment facility. I feel that I have
everything under control and will be sure to get all reports turned
in on time. Hershel has lent me a manual on spray irrigation
procedures to help me better understand when and how often we
should be irrigating. I will be going over that when I have some
spare time this winter and will be taking the class as soon as it's
available, hopefully this spring. I currently have a Class D License
in Wastewater and our wastewater plant is a D Facility so I am
qualified to run it on my own. My license expires on 7-1-08 and
between now and then, I will be pursuing my Class C License. It's
always good to be a step up on licenses.
2
