MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10.5. Official Depositories for 2006 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 06- <br /> 03 DESIGNATING THE AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES AND THE LAKES STATE BANK OF PEQUOT LAKES AS <br /> OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR THE CITY FOR 2006. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> �. 10.6. Official Newspapers Designation <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 06- <br /> 04 APPOINTING THE LAKE COUNTRY ECHO AND BRAINERD <br /> DISPATCH AS THE DESIGNATED OFFICIAL NEWSPAPERS FOR THE <br /> CITY FOR 2006. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10.7. Cable Commission Grant <br /> The City Clerk reviewed the grant requirement for the $5,000 cable grant. <br /> The Council discussed several ideas for use of the grant funds with the <br /> top priorities as follows: <br /> • Scholarship Fund <br /> • Use for Parks <br /> • Purchase of Equipment to play back council meetings over cable <br /> TV <br /> The Council indicated that it did not have enough time to make a decision <br /> and questioned whether the money could be applied for and kept until a <br /> decision was made. The Clerk indicated that the money could be granted <br /> under those conditions. <br />
