RESOLUTION 06-14 ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FOR <br /> MARCH 2006 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> No one was present for open forum. <br /> 5.1. BLADC — Update on Project Funding Options <br /> Amy Collins of BLADC updated the Council on its search for funding <br /> sources for the Government Drive and Brunes Royce projects. The report <br /> gave several funding options for both projects. Amy indicated that the City <br /> needs to decide which options they wish to pursue. The Council took no <br /> action at this time. <br /> \.. 5.2. HRA Update <br /> Sharon Thurlow, HRA Executive Director, requested the City's <br /> participation in costs associated with subdividing the Buschmann property <br /> and in burning down the existing structure. Dawn Bittner indicated that the <br /> Council could consider waiving the land use fees. She also noted that she <br /> has some funds in her budget for clean-up which could be used toward <br /> the project. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE <br /> PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF THE BUSCHMANN PROPERTY <br /> AS PROPOSED BY THE HRA IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,750. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> The Council discussed the funding source for the $3,750. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION BY <br /> STATING THAT $1,500 COME FROM THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br /> CLEAN UP FUND AND THAT $2,250 COME FROM THE COUNCIL <br /> CONTINGENCY FUND. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. THE AMENDMENT CARRIED 7-0. <br /> L THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 7-0. <br />
