City Council Minutes
September 20, 2006
------------------------------
Herschel Blasing stated that prior to making any changes; the City should
determine if any grant money was acquired for the sewer land or sprinkler
heads. If so, the money may have to be refunded, unless the time
limitation has run out.
Council Member Ryan noted that he had heard concerns regarding the
spray irrigation land being contaminated. Tim Houle noted that he spoke
to Craig Robinson from MnDOT regarding MnDOT's concern with the
liability issue. Mr. Robinson indicated that MnDOT's concern is with the
impacts to the spray irrigation field and the cost and steps necessary to
address the impacts. Tim Houle indicated there is no contamination that
he is aware of for spray irrigating with wastewater. Brett Twardy also
indicated that there is no contamination on the spray irrigation site.
Council Member Ryan noted that he felt indemnification included all
impacts. Tim Houle noted that the Council should set the parameters of
the indemnification with MnDOT.
There being no further questions, the Mayor closed this portion of the
meeting.
3. Performance Review Training
Ray Niemann gave a presentation on performance reviews.
4. Adjournment
There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO
ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION.
MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
The special session of the City Council adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Sandra A.
