Land Acquisition
We anticipate that there will be some permanent easement and/or property
acquisitions required for the storm sewer system/infiltration basins.
$0
As the scope of such property work (surveys, plats, descriptions,
easements, acquisitions, recording, etc.) are not yet known, these tasks
would be treated as additional work and its scope would be determined
once the extent of the property work is determined.
VIII. Funding
Even if special assessments are used, we anticipate that the City will need
to bond for these improvements.
The opinions of probable construction cost that we prepare as part of our $0
above tasks normally suffice for the City's funding consultants.
If additional information requests are required, these would be treated as
additional work and the scope would be determined once these requests
are known.
IX. Bidding
Prepare an Advertisement for Bids and submit to the Construction Bulletin,
the Echo Newspaper, and the Brainerd Daily Dispatch Newspaper.
Issue Contract Documents to bidders, address bidders' questions, issue $3,000
addenda as required, attend the bid opening, and prepare a tabulation of
bids and a recommendation of award.
City is to pay any advertisement costs.
Total through Bidding: Lump Sum $61,900
CAMy Documents\City Clerk\Engineering\South Oak Street\Pequot Lakes-South Oak Street-Proposal-062806(2).doc
