AGENDA ITEM #11 .1 -11 .3.
i
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Date: July 5, 2006
Subject: Engineering Items
Report:
11.1. Government Drive
Attached is the memo that was prepared by the City
Engineer on July 29, 2005. To date the City has not moved
forward on this project. With the continued new businesses
and business expansion taking place on Government Drive,
staff feels that the Council should once again consider
whether this project should move forward. This project was
discussed at a meeting with Staff, the City Engineer,
Council Member Sjoblad and Mayor Malecha. Those at the
meeting felt that the Government Drive project should be a
priority; however, they felt that the Council needed more
information to make this decision. Staff is requesting the
Council to consider authorizing the Field Survey and
Utility Locations, the Storm Drainage Preliminary Design
and the Feasibility Study of the project to be done this year.
