The Safety corner topic was the call we had to dispose of a hazardous material made from <br /> mixing weed killer, bleach, and ammonia. We dumped the stuff in the grass and flushed it <br /> with 500 gallons of water. <br /> The gas monitor was repaired. It had a bad oxygen sensor.It works good now. We do not <br /> need to use the wand for taking in air. <br /> There is no report for the Mac tanker and it is not done yet. The truck is still at Dabills. <br /> Our underground water storage tanks #I and #3 are full of water. The other tanks were <br /> not checked. We should do a training with the tender and these underground tanks. <br /> The 1975 pump gas tank has not been repaired yet. <br /> The Relief Association financial report is all done. Kirk has the numbers together and is <br /> ready for a meeting. A meeting is scheduled fore next training meeting, with the relief <br /> meeting starting at 6:00 pm. <br /> New business: We used an extinguisher today at the Breezy call. One was borrowed from <br /> the Pequot station until the used one is charged. We can borrow back and forth between <br /> the two stations when something is needed at one. <br /> The new computer is installed and operating. The old computer is also connected on-line <br /> And can be used too. <br /> There will be an Officer's meeting next Wednesday at 6:30 pm. <br /> A"Rigid" hat was found in the van. <br /> The ATV operating class will be held some time in the future. <br /> Larry wants to know if we are interested in a pancake maker he found at A to Z <br /> Restaurant Supply which will make 360 cakes an hour. The price is $2500.00 He can <br /> get a donation for $1000.00 if we decide to purchase the machine.He also found a nice <br /> popcorn maker for $300.00. No decision was made tonight. <br /> We sent a memorial to the Dan Marcum family for$100.00. Dan served for 25 years on <br /> the department. Bridge motioned to approve the donation, seconded by Evenson, motion <br /> passed. Dan Loven motioned we make $100.00 kind of a standard memorial donation, <br /> second by Oaks, motion passed. <br /> Peterson II motioned to bring the automatic pancake maker here and take a look at it, <br /> second by Oaks, motion passed. Casanova and Loven were opposed to the motion. <br /> Bill mentioned we are hosting the Rit tearn training here on May 15th at 6:30. He wants <br /> all of our team members here for the session. <br />
