it <br /> Pequot Lakes <br /> Summary of Facility Plan/PPL/IUP/Financial Assistance Process <br /> April 4,2006 <br /> The MPCA takes this information and gives points to all of the <br /> projects they receive requests from. <br /> These projects are then ranked on the PPL- highest point-getter is <br /> No. 1 and the lowest point-getter is last. <br /> The MPCA gives points for environmental and/or human health <br /> threats, age and condition factors,and discharge conditions. <br /> June 9, 2006 Requests for Placement on the IUP due to the PFA by June 9,2006. <br /> Those projects that expect Facility Plan approval within the month <br /> and that will begin construction within the year can apply to be on ` <br /> this list. <br /> Each year, the PFA looks at how much loan(and sometimes grant) <br /> money they have available,who on the PPL has applied,and then <br /> they go down the PPL with these project until they run out of <br /> money. This is then the Intended Use Plan,or IUP. <br /> July 3, 2006 Facility Plans Approved by MPCA for IUP Project by July 3, 2006. <br /> The MPCA prepares the PPL, indicating which projects have <br /> preliminary approved Facility Plans and forwards the PPL to the <br /> PFA,which develops the IUP. <br /> Schedule-wise, a project can take, in rough numbers, 3 to 4 years to complete from <br /> Facility Plan to construction.
