The ice fest report is that all trophies are ordered. The van trailer and the announcer are taken care of The bleachers from the school are OK. We are not sure about a raffle. The Chief thought we should purchase a$500.00 portable fish house . We will wait and see if we get any good donations. We still need a PA system and a generator for lights. Dave needs a lot of help to shorten the chassis on the new DNR tanker. All of the aluminum salvaged from the truck will be recycled for dollars. The Breezy station has seven sets of gear now. They still need gloves. We will need someone to bring the Breezy tanker for structure fires in our fire district. Nick, Tina, Pat, John, Dan, and Kirk will be responding to the Breezy station. Our insurance company will not insure the four wheeler unless we own it. It does belong to the first responders. If they will donate it to us, it can be insured. Fire fighter II classes are on Tuesday and Thursday nights. There are also some Saturdays scheduled. Classes will go for three months, starting on January 17th There is an officers meeting planned for Wednesday, January 11th at 6:30 PM. Roger asked if we could offer students community service time for jobs around the fire station. Examples of jobs would be washing and waxing vehicles. The idea is OK, and we could use help at both stations. This should be supervised. Dave K. thinks we need new pagers and radios as all of our spares are out. We are also out of the big batteries for the monitor pagers. We have five pagers that need to be sent in for service. Dave suggests we purchase six new pagers and send in the five for repair. Rickard motioned to purchase 5 new pagers and send the 5 in for repair, second by Selter, motion passed. The scheduled X-mas party for January 21St has been cancelled because there is too much going on now. Natasha has completed her year of probation. The Exec Board recommends we vote her to full fledged membership. The vote was unanimous for her approval. Bill reported there will be alive burn in Nisswa on January 14th. There are also more planned. Bill motioned to adjourn, second by Kelly Larson, meeting adjourned.
