The Vegetation Plan deals with vegetation and not dockage, even though docks are <br /> indicated on the Plan. Next month they need to bring the following: <br /> 1. Rental and Association documents. <br /> 2. Title Opinion. <br /> 3. Plat Check. <br /> 4. Bond, letter of credit or other financial mechanism. <br /> 5. Document on dockage. <br /> 6. Mr. Curtis explained that they plan to install turn lanes and <br /> acceleration lanes and traffic control signs per MnDOT specs. Phase 1 will take about <br /> one to one and a half months to clear and construct berms. Phase 2 will be creating the <br /> ponds, wash plant and stock piles. The concrete and asphalt plants will be established. <br /> Phase 3 will be the excavation. Monitoring wells will be placed and independent testing <br /> will be done. They will conduct an EAW for the entire 174 acres. The duration for <br /> excavation is approximately 15 years. They plan to excavate during daylight hours and <br /> crush from 6 AM to 10 PM. They will post a performance bond. Crow Wing County <br /> asks for$25,000.00. <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Jeff DeVries, 28478 Mayo Hills Road, represented the Community Group as <br /> spokesperson. They submitted a petition with 265 signatures requesting the CUP be <br /> Planning Commission 2 <br /> November 17, 2005 <br />
