Calls for Service <br />Chief Klang updated the Council on the calls-for-service process. He <br />explained the difference in the number of present calls for service <br />compared to the calls for service from past years. <br />9. Public Works <br />Water and Sewer reports received by Council. <br />9.1. Pavment in Lieu of Services <br />Council Member Sjoblad noted that Pat Smith from American National <br />Bank has decided to take payment in lieu of work done on the old Once <br />Upon a Page property in relation to the Government Drive project. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE REIMBURSEMENT OF <br />� $1,574 TO AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK FOR PAYMENT IN LIEU OF <br />WORK DONE ON THE GOVERNMENT DRIVE PROJECT IN RELATION <br />TO THE ONCE UPON A PAGE PROPERTY. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Tim Houle explained that the reason for the decision is because the <br />property owner wanted to do their own finishing work. Council Member <br />Ryan stated that we should be sure we are getting a release of any further <br />claims on the project. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO <br />REQUIRE THE PROPERTY OWNER TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION <br />THAT RELEASES THE CITY FROM ANY OTHER CLAIMS WITH <br />REGARD TO THE PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-1. DAVE SJOBLAD <br />OPPOSED. <br />THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 4-1. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />SJOBLAD OPPOSED. <br />10.1.
