Mr. <br />Eder stated that three years is too soon and alienates the rural district. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO REDUCE THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br />BY $4,000 REDUCING THE GENERAL FUND LEVY TO $1,457,418 <br />AND A TAX ABATEMENT LEVY OF $30,955 WHICH IS A TOTAL LEVY <br />INCREASE OF 0.13% FROM 2013. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br />FOLLOWING 2014 BUDGETS: <br />A. 2014 HRA BUDGET <br />B. 2014 TAX LEVY BUDGETS <br />C. 2014 SPECIAL REVENUE AND ENTERPRISE BUDGETS <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 13- <br />28 SETTING THE 2014 HRA LEVY AT $38,250. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 13- <br />29 SETTING THE 2014 GENERAL REVENUE TAX LEVY AT <br />$1,457,418, AND THE TAX ABATEMENT LEVY AT $30,955. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4- <br />0. <br />1.4. 2014 Waaes for Non-union Emplovees <br />The Mayor informed the Council that the 2014 City budgets reflect a <br />1.25% COLA increase and a one-half step (1.25%) increase for non-union <br />employees. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2014 NON-UNION WAGE <br />INCREASE OF 1.25% COLA PLUS A ONE-HALF STEP INCREASE OF <br />1.25%. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />1.5. 2014 Fee Schedule <br />The Clerk reviewed the proposed changes to the 2014 fee schedule. <br />Mayor Adams suggested increasing the 911 sign replacement fee to $30. <br />
