MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.5. Water Tower Maintenance Agreement <br /> The Clerk presented the water tower agreement between the Chamber of <br /> Commerce and the City. She noted that the agreement has been <br /> reviewed by the City employees, Chamber Board, City Attorney and <br /> Insurance Agent. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE BOBBER <br /> WATER TOWER MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> AND THE CHAMBER. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report by Mike Loven. <br /> 12.1. Pillsbury Street Discussion <br /> Mike Loven noted that Council Member Bolz-Andolshek had a concern <br /> regarding the area and suggested a right turn lane. Mr. Loven noted that <br /> the State of Minnesota does not have the funds to construct a right turn <br /> lane. He noted that the City could construct the right turn lane at an <br /> approximate cost of$20,000 - $30,000. The Council suggested that the <br /> Street Superintendent keep in contact with the State to see what it would <br /> take to get the project done. <br /> 12.2. Purchase of Plow <br /> Mike Loven requested authorization to purchase a plow. He indicated that <br /> the plow would be mounted on the water/sewer one-ton pick up truck and <br /> would be used for snow removal in those departments and other city <br /> property and as a back up for other plow trucks. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> PURCHASE OF A PLOW FROM MEYER MIDWEST AT $5,990 <br /> FUNDED THROUGH THE CAPITAL OUTLAY BUDGET. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 13. City Engineer <br />
