I have always valued the quality of life in the lakes <br />area and know that continued prosperity in the community is c��itical to a brighter future. [ have over 25 <br />years in private industry holding various roles that have challenged me to be creative, do more with less, <br />and get measureable results. I have a"glass is half full" attitude and am driven by an entrepreneurial <br />spirit to get things done and get results. <br />Education/Professional Experience: Describe your educational and professional experience or <br />skills that qualify you to serve on this board/commission. <br />I have over 25 years of experience as a successful business professional working with national <br />companies that I feel may add an additional perspective to the Economic Development team. <br />Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Degree; Carison School of Management, University <br />of Minnesota, Minneapolis. <br />FINRA Series 6, 63, 7, 66 securities licenses requiring a detailed understanding of stringent <br />regulatory requirements and the ability to execute the rules from a practical standpoint in day to .�, <br />day activities. <br />Professional Experience: Over 25 years of experience in senior management of three national <br />firms specializing in regulatory compliance within the IRA and retirement industry. <br />• Vice President, Compliance Svstems, Inc.- Grand Rapids, MI -2003-2011 <br />Roles at CSi spanned a broad range of responsibilities including <br />executive/strategic management; IRA product line design, development and <br />market entry; product management; marketing and communications and sales <br />and relationship management. <br />IRA Product ManaQer, Wolters Kluwer- St. Cloud, MN-2002-2003 <br />Developed and executed a strategic and tactical plan to expand IRA product line. <br />• Vice President, Universal Pensions (formerly Bisvs, currentiv Ascensusl <br />o Brainerd, MN - 1984-2001 <br />Held many roles during 17+ year tenure including product development, strategic <br />alliance development, marketing and communications, subject matter expert, <br />trainer and product management. <br />---�. <br />
