This study incorporates City staff's and City engineer's estimates of <br /> future capital improvements for the water utility system through 2023 and estimates <br /> about the pace of development. <br /> Assumptions and User Fees <br /> Following is a chart that summarizes the significant assumptions in the study. <br /> Water Utility Sanitary Sewer Utility <br /> Growth The pace of residential development Same growth assumptions as water <br /> between 2008 and 2013 has been fund. <br /> estimated at 45 units to reflect an <br /> existing development plan and a <br /> slower housing sales market. <br /> Commercial— 1 new customer <br /> beginning in 2008. <br /> i <br /> Water Utility Sanitary Sewer Utility <br /> Sewer N/A A waste water treatment plant has <br /> Treatment been programmed into the <br /> Plant assumptions for the Sanitary Sewer <br /> operation. <br /> Other Capital Averages$66,800 per year in 2007 Averages almost$191,800 per year <br /> Improvements dollars, for water system in today's dollars. Includes trunk <br /> improvements, and capital lines,the waste water treatment plant <br /> purchases. and capital equipment. <br />
