I spoke <br /> with Sandy Peine today and she informed me that the council tabled the request at the last <br /> scheduled meeting. Sandy indicated that you had some questions about my intent. The <br /> following statements should help clarify my request. <br /> 1. The License I am requesting is strictly Off Sale for the establishment of a Liquor <br /> Store in the City of Pequot Lakes. <br /> 2. I would propose to establish the store at 30389 Hwy 371 South in Pequot Lakes. <br /> I have verified with Dawn Bittner that the property is properly zoned. The current <br /> classification is Commercial and the permitted use would fall under"Commercial <br /> Other". Dawn also informed me that a conditional use permit would be required <br /> to operate. At this time Dotty Auto Company is permitted to do business at this <br /> location. If the Council and Planning and Zoning were to allow the Liquor Store <br /> to operate at this location Dotty Auto Company would look to relocate. <br /> I appreciate your consideration of my request and look forward to operating another <br /> business in the City of Pequot Lakes. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Joe Dotty <br />
