AGENDA ITEM #10.4. <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: September 4, 2007 <br /> Subiect: Off-Sale Liquor Licenses <br /> Report: At the August Council meeting the Council was <br /> requested to consider allowing another off-sale liquor <br /> license in the City of Pequot Lakes. The request came from <br /> �. Joe Dotty. The Council discussed the issue and requested <br /> more information from Mr. Dotty. Mr. Dotty has provided <br /> the Council with more information which is attached. <br /> I believe the Council should base its decision on increasing <br /> the number of licenses allowed in the ordinance purely on <br /> whether or not it wants to increase this number, not by who <br /> is applying. <br /> The City currently has two off-sale licenses (Pestello's and <br /> the Oasis). State law allows the governing body of the City <br /> to determine the number of off-sale licenses. <br />
