The project is now underway and we will
soon have another business operating in our business park.
• E&P Manufacturing
The closing for E&P Manufacturing took place on August 28th. Earl and Patrician
Rasmussen have received their building permit and plan on beginning their
project within the week.
With the sale of business park lots to these two businesses the City has only two
lots remaining. We have had an inquiry by someone very interested in purchasing
two adjoining lots. At this time the City is unable to accommodate the request so
unfortunately the business will be going to another community. The business
owners have indicated that they would rather be in Pequot Lakes. This is
something that the Economic Development Committee will be addressing at its
first meeting.
• Economic Development Committee
`-' The Economic Development Committee will be meeting on September 11th. A
report will be made to the Council in October.
2008 Budget
