COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE FOR THE POSITION OF WATER/WASTEWATER SUPERVISOR: 1. CHANGE THE JOB POINTS FROM 338 TO 322 2. AMEND PAY STRUCTURE FOR POSITION OF WATERfWASTEWATER POSITION AS RECOMMENDED BY THE JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE 3. APPROVE REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR WATERIWASTEWATER SUPERVISOR AS RECOMMENDED BY THE JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 10.4. Off-Sale Liquor Licenses The City Clerk noted that the Council has been requested by Joe Dotty, for the second time, to allow another off-sale liquor license. The Clerk noted that she believes the Council should decide whether or not it wants to increase the number of licenses regardless of who is applying for the license. The Council discussed the pros and cons of increasing the number of licenses. The Council decided to table this item until more information could be received regarding what other cities are allowing for off-sale liquor establishments. Chief Braam indicated he would check to see how many licenses are given by other cities of Pequot's size. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO TABLE THIS ITEM INDEFINITLEY. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 11. Maintenance Supervisor's Report Report received by Council. 12. City Engineer \.. Mike Rude updated the Council on the progress of the 2007 road projects including Inland Trails, South Oak Street, and Gravdahl Road. He noted that the projects are nearly completed.
