The Clerk stated that the Committee also recommended a few <br /> minor changes to the existing job description. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE <br /> FOR THE POSITION OF WATER/WASTEWATER SUPERVISOR: <br /> 1. CHANGE THE JOB POINTS FROM 338 TO 322 <br /> 2. AMEND PAY STRUCTURE FOR POSITION OF <br /> WATERfWASTEWATER POSITION AS RECOMMENDED BY <br /> THE JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE <br /> 3. APPROVE REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR <br /> WATERIWASTEWATER SUPERVISOR AS RECOMMENDED BY <br /> THE JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.4. Off-Sale Liquor Licenses <br /> The City Clerk noted that the Council has been requested by Joe Dotty, <br /> for the second time, to allow another off-sale liquor license. The Clerk <br /> noted that she believes the Council should decide whether or not it wants <br /> to increase the number of licenses regardless of who is applying for the <br /> license. The Council discussed the pros and cons of increasing the <br /> number of licenses. The Council decided to table this item until more <br /> information could be received regarding what other cities are allowing for <br /> off-sale liquor establishments. Chief Braam indicated he would check to <br /> see how many licenses are given by other cities of Pequot's size. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO TABLE THIS ITEM <br /> INDEFINITLEY. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 12. City Engineer <br /> \.. Mike Rude updated the Council on the progress of the 2007 road projects <br /> including Inland Trails, South Oak Street, and Gravdahl Road. He noted <br /> that the projects are nearly completed. <br />
