MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7. Fire Chief Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 8. WaterM/astewater Monthly Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 9. Police Chief Monthly Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 9.1. Request to Move Police Officer from Limited Part Time to Regular Full <br /> Time <br /> Chief Braam explained that Kate Petersen is currently a limited part time <br /> employee. He noted that Kate will be the school liaison officer beginning <br /> September 4th and will be working 40 hours per week. He further noted <br /> that the 2008 budget has Kate moving to full time status. He requested the <br /> Council to consider authorizing the full time status immediately rather than <br /> waiting until January 1St <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO APPROVE MOVING <br /> KATE PETERSEN FROM A LIMITED PART TIME OFFICER TO A FULL <br /> TIME OFFICER EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 4, 2007, AT STEP ONE OF <br /> THE PAY SCALE ($16.11 PER HOUR) WITH A 6 MONTH PROBATION. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> The Clerk reminded the Council that this move will be funded by <br /> Community Policing funds for the remainder of 2007 and by the General <br /> Fund Budget in 2008. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBERS ORASKOVICH AND NAGEL CONSENTED TO <br /> ADDING THE FOLLOWING LANGUAGE TO THE MOTION: <br /> "WAGES FOR KATE PETERSEN FROM SEPTEMBER 4, 2007 — <br /> DECEMBER 31, 2007 WILL BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY POLICING <br /> FUNDS AND IN 2008 WAGES WILL BE FUNDED BY THE GENERAL <br /> FUND BUDGET." <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10. City Clerk's Report <br />
